The Barnstead Inn felt like home from the moment I arrived. The cozy decor and warm atmosphere made my stay truly enjoyable. I loved having a comfortable bed, and the room was immaculate. Breakfast each morning was a real treat, with delicious options like slow-cooked corned beef hash that hit the spot before a day on the slopes. The staff, especially Pete and Andrea, were incredibly welcoming and helpful with local dining recommendations. Plus, the dog-friendly vibe made my visit even better with Lucky around! However, I did hear some noise from the upstairs guests, which could be distracting at times. A bit more soundproofing would really enhance the experience. Despite that, I can't wait to return and enjoy the newly renovated pool and pond next time.

Charming Rustic Stay with Room for Improvement
We stayed for two nights in a cozy double room. The rustic charm captivated us, but the dust on surfaces was noticeable. Ensure to request soap, as basic amenities were lacking. For quieter nights, opt for the top floor. Breakfast at the onsite café was a highlight!

Such a charming place! The family loved exploring the cozy inn and the delicious homemade breakfast each morning. We even had fun during our visit to the Equinox for a Land Rover Experience. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating, making our stay unforgettable.
My children wished for a little more outdoor space to run around and play after dinner.

Perfect for Family Getaway
We had an amazing time, like nothing you've experienced before. The homemade breakfast was so good, every bite was like a warm hug and don't get me started on how friendly their dogs are. That Lucky is something else.
Sure, it cost a bit but honestly, it was worth every penny.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the cozy firepits and the tasty homemade breakfast that fueled our days. The outdoor seating area was perfect for family games, while the indoor fireplace offered a snug spot to wind down. Just a heads up, the walls are a bit thin, so some noise may trickle in, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all! ☕️
